Surglogs admins can allow staff to access the platform on All Devices or Authorized Devices only. This preference is set during user creation, and can be modified later.

  • There is no restriction on the number of devices you can use to access Surglogs.

  • Only those with system administrative access to Surglogs are able manage devices.

How to Authorize a Device to your Surglogs Center

  1. Ensure that the mobile device you are authorizing has the latest version of the Surglogs App installed from the App Store (Apple iOS) or Play Store (Android)

  2. Login to Surglogs on your desktop browser

  3. Navigate to Settings at the bottom of the left-side navigator.

  4. Click on Devices in the Settings menu

  5. Click the Add Device button

  6. Name your device and click Next step

  7. A screen displaying "Device Authorization" with a QR code will appear.

  8. Open the Surglogs App on your mobile device.

  9. Click the "Authorize Device" button above the login area.

  10. Scan the QR code using the in-app camera that appears after clicking the "Authorize Device" button.

    1. Point the device's camera at the QR code β€” It will automatically scan to pair the device.

      1. If unsuccessful, use the "Add code manually" button.

      2. Enter the Device ID and Secret-Key provided in the browser, to the right of the QR code.

  11. Press Confirm Device on your browser page.

  12. The device is now authorized to your center and will display a preloaded User List, facilitating quick profile selection and login with a 4-digit or 6-digit PIN.

If the User List disappears on a previously authorized device, it is no longer authorized. Remove the device from your settings and repeat the authorization steps. App updates or reinstallation may trigger this authorization reset.

Utilize the "Edit" button to modify the device name or to delete/deauthorize the device as needed.
